too good not to share

Read:

2 Kings 7:3-11

Development:

These 4 leprous people have been the equivalent of us who started the journey in the gospel, which is not the same as going to church or temple.

These individuals were undecided if entering a city is the one they knew they were going to die, either from hunger or some other fortuitous cause.

Or if they entered the other one they already knew that they were going to die, since it was the city of the enemies. This situation if it is transported to the present is the equivalent of what people who are not Christians feel, because the world has a false image of what being Christians means or represents.

Despite that, one thing is very certain if these people persist in being in that world, of darkness, they will surely die because of sin, and the fact of dying is not only in the physical part but also in the spiritual part.

But if they enter the city that God has prepared for us, that city full of treasures and delicacies, they will surely live, and they will live a life of abundance.

If we pay attention to the biblical story, we can appreciate that God had prepared the city of their enemies so that they could enter, they found treasures that they hid meanly, but later realizing, they returned to the other city to proclaim the news that the enemies had fled and they left everything behind.

The same thing that they did, we must do, go to proclaim the good news of salvation, we must share the beautiful things that Jehovah has prepared for us.

I reflect and respond:

1. How were you hungry and hopeless like the 4 lepers before you were baptized?

2. How is the Kingdom of God like a party without limits?

3. How does verse 9 apply to being a disciple? Do you have the same attitude?

Read:

Romans 10:1-4; 10:14-21

Development:

What the Apostle Paul tells us in these verses is that if we, ask ourselves if we are bringing the good news of salvation.

And he asks us: How will they believe in him of whom they have not heard?

Our mission is to make disciples, disciples who can make more disciples. And also proclaim the gospel of salvation to everyone to the whole world.

As the scripture says: EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.

As it also reminds us, that everyone who believes in him will not be ashamed.

So knowing, what are you waiting for?

I reflect and respond:

1. Do you feel like Paul about those who are lost?

2. Who does God send to preach?

3. Will everyone accept the good news? Because?

4. Why is it important to preach, no matter what response is received?

Read:

Psalm 116:1-14

Development:

As we can see, the psalmist is worshiping Jehovah, which is why he inclined his ear to his supplication. Freeing his soul from the bonds of death and the bonds of Sheol. (Fear, Despair, Anguish, etc.) Therefore the psalmist proclaims that he will call on the name of Jehovah for the rest of his life,

He also says that he will serve him before his people, fulfilling the will of God.

This attitude that the psalmist manifested is the attitude that we, his children, must have, at all times of our lives, no matter where, how, or when. We simply must do it, that is our mission to reach everyone with the gospel of peace.

I reflect and respond:

How can you repay the Lord for all the kindness you have shown him?

to you?
